Marylouise is an Anti-Ageing health practitioner and specialises in bio-identical hormone balancing , creating wellness , and correcting an epidemic nutrient deficiencies in her community. She works intimately with clients to balance their Hormone Harmony and Thyroid Revival. Recently her passion has embraced facilitating wellness programs around FASTING. In particular the Clean Food Fast protocol working with doctors and allied health business of all sizes around Australia.
She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from The University of Queensland , with a Dean’s Recommendation of Honours. She has studied abroad in the USA at the School of Pharmacy at the University of Iowa and has over 25 years of experience in the field of compounding and health creation. Participating in PCCA Australian Advisory Board further demonstrating her passion for individualising personal health care. Then completing her Diplomate with A4M ( The American Board of Anti-Ageing Health Practitioners) in 2015 , and she finds immense satisfaction with consulting , that has resulted in her recent undertaking to complete a Certification from the Institute of Functional Medicine.
She is a philomath at heart and loves to travel learning about better health initiatives, returning with ideas to share with like-minded colleagues . Resulting in 2018 installing a new sterile injectable facility in Brisbane to make bespoke vitamin and amino acid infusions for doctors throughout Australia for health optimisation.
She consults for The Australian Academy of Anti-aging Medicine advisory panel to provide A5M with a strategic overview relating to preventative, integrative and anti-ageing medicine for health in her community.
Her celebration in 2019 with the business “The Compounding lab” was a finalist in Telstra business awards for innovation in health care in Queensland. So when passion prevails the opportunity in 2021 joined a united front of Compounders in Australia called Formulae was an easy decision. Formulae is a passionate collective about Education , Discovery and personlization of individuals health span. For all lovers of life.
Ben is a compounding pharmacist and formulating chemist who is passionate about shaking up the pharmacy, healthcare and personal care industries through community pharmacy based compounding. Whilst he has a deep understanding of the health benefits compounding may have for an individual, his specialty is the skin and creating dermatological products that foster a healthy human skin microbiome. As the personal care and cosmetics industry gradually and completely uncouples from sound medical science, Ben is showing that skincare made in a microbiome friendly manner can in fact greatly enhance clinical results.
Ben Graduated from the University of Queensland and then spent a significant amount of time working as a registered pharmacist in England, Scotland and Wales. Upon returning to Australia, he noticed the same large gaps in pharmaceutical treatment existed and decided to address this. In 2012 he opened his first compounding pharmacy in regional NSW followed by a second compounding pharmacy in Qld.
As well as being involved in formulating skin products for use in clinical trials, Ben has delivered webinars, lectures to medical professionals as well as written papers on the skin microbiome as a therapeutic target and the importance of correct formulation.
Ben’s approach to skin health has been aligned through Formulae with nutritional, hormonal and gut microbiome health, giving a complete management of personal health and wellbeing.
