Our Gut Microbiome Test helps us investigate exactly what’s going on in your gut. The test is a simple, at-home stool sample, that will be sent directly to your door. Once completed, simply pop it in the return post satchel provided, and drop it off to the Post Office – No awkward specimen jars and pathology centre visits involved!
This test looks at Digestive & Metabolic Markers, Beneficial Bacteria, Pathogenic Bacteria, Opportunistic and Dysbiotic Bacteria, Yeasts and Parasites. Translation please?! Basically, it helps us figure out exactly how well the critters that live in your gut are functioning – Are there too many of the bad guys? Are the good guys thriving? Are there parasites you need to get rid of?
Once your results are in, you’ll be the first to know, and our Functional Health Pharmacists can sit down with you and investigate what your results mean, how they contribute to your health concerns, and how your lifestyle is playing a factor in what we find. We’ll then expertly create a special, one-of-a-kind formula just for you, and craft it in our state-of-the-art-lab. It may come in the form of personalised probiotics, prebiotics, clearing treatments, or anything else you need – It depends on your individual results! Rather than just providing a band aid fix, we aim to tackle to root causes of your health.
The Gut Test isn’t just about soothing a troubled tummy – Rebalancing and optimising gut health is going to be a great step if you want to support any of the following:
Hormone balance
Skin issues
Energy levels and fatigue
Cognitive function or “brain fog”
Nutrient absorption
And a whole lot more!
Diagnosed with IBS, I was suffering from much more than just a bloated belly. I had serious brain fog. I could sleep for hours and never feel rested. I’ve had eczema since I was a kid and always had multiple tubes of steroid creams on hand at any given moment.
At the time of writing this – about four months after my consultation and I started taking my custom formulations – I’ve never felt better. Now, my bad stomach days usually occur when I forget to take my probiotics for a few days. A bad day for me now is what my baseline normal day used to be!
